Looking back at 2020 so many feelings and emotions come to the fore, in a year that changed us all.

Looking back can only serve the purpose of ensuring we are able to move forward in a different way before the Pandemic, before we knew what Covid-19 actually meant.

As the New Year approaches people will start to think about resolutions and change but 2021 is the year of Hope. So what’s the best way to approach 2021?

  1. Understand and Reflect on what we have been through. We should never forget the challenges and obstacles that were beyond our control and that we did our very best to overcome.

  2. Plan Plan Plan for a very different future. Life is not nor it ever will be the same, hence the Great Reset - Version 4.0 of the next phase of our lives.

  3. Be Optimistic - The negativity has overtaken us all and now is the time to look forward to something fresh and new. Make plans to revisit those special celebrations which were put on hold.

  4. The Pandemic gave us Time - We were stopped in our tracks, allowing us the luxury to spend time with family, revisit hobbies, discover and learn new skills. Let’s not waste time but continue to use it wisely.

  5. Continue with that learning curve. Whether it’s mastering a new language or perfecting a particular type of cuisine, discovering something new is a positive.

  6. Mind, Body and Spirit work as one. Health has always meant wealth and therefore needs to be at the forefront of how we live our lives. Just like the body, the brain needs regular exercise. The more positive the thoughts, the stronger the need for knowledge and learning.

  7. Put things into Perspective - we have become more reflective and thought carefully about our priorities as we approach into 2021. We have witnessed so much that is very alien to all of us and some of the day-to-day issues we experience pales into insignificance.

  8. Altruism - Definition - Noun - the principle or practice of unselfish concern for or devotion to the welfare of others (opposed to egoism). Goodness knows how many acts of kindness we have witnessed over the last 9 months and let’s keep it going not matter how simple.
